Vintage London Bus Wedding - Katy & James tie the knot at Islington Town Hall

Katy and James were married at Islington Town Hall and rode with their guests on an awesome vintage red bus to The Peasant in Clerkenwell. It was gorgeously relaxed, filled with cups of tea and vintage-inspired style and beautiful glittering gold boleros and brown brogues and winter sunshine. I absolutely loved shooting at The Peasant and their eclectic decor. I'm also always a fan of a cake consisting of a stack of different cheeses. My favourite part of the day was when the dancing kicked off - they're a couple with some seriously rad moves!

Kirsty & Mark's Vintage Railway Engagement Shoot in Derbyshire

In thundering rain I met Kirsty and Mark at the Midland Railway Centre, Butterley (home of Indietracks, my favourite music festival) for their engagement photos. The weather was so grotty… wet and cold that sneaks down the back of your neck and makes your socks squish around in your shoes. But we didn't let it stop us! Here's some of my favourite shots from their shoot.

Sam & Richard - Maternity Photography In Allestree, Derbyshire

Oh, spring. It feels like you came and went so quickly as we find ourselves thrust into another classic British summer… heatwave one day, downpour the next.

I was lucky enough to shoot Sam and Richard's beautiful chilled out London pub wedding last year and  I was so excited to catch up and work with them on a maternity shoot. They came to see me in Allestree, just outside Derby and we tracked down some beautiful blossom to bring into the photos.

Lauren & Pete's Norwood Park Wedding

After getting ready at her family's beautiful home, Lauren wed her lovely man Pete at the most beautiful little church in a ceremony conducted by Pete's dad. The day was incredibly pretty, with Norwood Park providing the perfect backdrop for the elegant decorations and sweet personal touches - each table name told the story of an important time they'd shared together. The level of detail and care was beautiful but more than that the amount of love in the room brought me to tears more than once - when Pete sang to Lauren during the speeches I don't think there was a dry eye in the house! My personal highlight was just at the end of their portraits, when they broke into a run across the grounds together… just totally joyous.
