I've always felt a bit hesitant about providing boudoir photography. I tried a couple of things before that didn't really work for me so for Kate's shoot I really thought beforehand what I would want my take on boudoir to look like. I knew I wanted natural light in abundance… I wanted to keep things soft and subtle. I wanted to make something a bit dreamy and nostalgic, but I wanted to keep it real at the same time… no airbrushing or retouching. I am mega-chuffed with how this shoot came out and I'm another step closer to feeling ready to add this into my business officially. The next step being more lovely shoots like this, please!
That's all for now… Have an excellent day, gang! I managed to totally blast my way through Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt (I love you, Netflix) over the weekend… what to marathon next?

A family photoshoot in Derbyshire
"Let the wild rumpus start!"
I had so much fun on this shoot. Derbyshire has so much to offer… There's so much to explore so it's the perfect place for a family photo session! Whenever I photograph kids I love letting them run wild so that their personalities have permission to shine through. I also always make sure I give parents a chance to get some shots too, because sometimes life with kids can be a bit of a blur and you forget to give yourself a bit of love too. If you fancy coming to see me for a photoshoot with your wild things then get in touch, I also sell gift cards in my little shop!

Mermaid hair, sequins and ice.
An incredible few days of photography in Reykjavik. One morning we headed down for portraits by the water at sunrise. Because it was really, really bloody cold we only had a few short minutes of time before I felt too guilty about the fact that I was wrapped up and Igg was freezing. I can't wait to share more of my shots from my time in Iceland really soon!
P.S. if you want awesome coloured hair you should totally hit up Elbie

India & Caitlin - Twin Portraits
Trying new things has always been essential for me. I spend a lot of time looking out for new people to collaborate with… and when I spotted The Wild Twins' portfolio I knew that I had to work with them. Working with twins was really fun, especially as these girls have such a bond and such a warmth about them. Shooting some portraits with them in the beautiful surroundings of my personal favourite location, Allestree Park in Derby was like taking a deep breath for the first time in months. I could have photographed them in that field of buttercups for hours and hours and hours. Here's some of my favourite shots from the shoot.

Sam & Richard - Maternity Photography In Allestree, Derbyshire
Oh, spring. It feels like you came and went so quickly as we find ourselves thrust into another classic British summer… heatwave one day, downpour the next.
I was lucky enough to shoot Sam and Richard's beautiful chilled out London pub wedding last year and I was so excited to catch up and work with them on a maternity shoot. They came to see me in Allestree, just outside Derby and we tracked down some beautiful blossom to bring into the photos.
If you'd like to book pregnancy photos with me then get in touch!
